Cut more, breathe less
- Precision-shaped grain. Blended with aluminum oxide on an open net.
- No hole alignment. A center hole centers each disc on the pad.
- Dust extraction. Best results with an extraction system, per 3M.
- Long shelf life. 5 years unopened.
Protect the backup pad. 3M says to put a protection pad or pad saver on the backup pad. It makes the pad last longer and keeps the net disc gripping well.
Spot repair
- Fit a 3 in hook backup pad, with a pad saver, to your sander and connect dust extraction.
- Center the disc on the pad using the center hole.
- Shape filler with 80+ to 150+, then feather edge with 180+ or 220+.
- Refine with 240+, and remove primer texture with 320+.
- Sand dry.
