The Milwaukee M12 FUEL™ 6" Random Orbital Sander (Model 2584-20) is engineered for professional paint technicians who need power, control, and a paint-ready finish. Its fine-finish 3/32" random orbit throw is optimized for sanding primer, removing clear coat, and performing paint-correction work.

Powered by a POWERSTATE™ brushless motor and REDLINK PLUS™ intelligence, the sander maintains pad rotation—even at low speeds and under load. It can sand up to five doors per charge when paired with an M12™ REDLITHIUM™ HIGH OUTPUT™ CP2.5 battery pack.

An ergonomic palm-grip design, feathering trigger, and variable-speed dial provide excellent comfort and control across a range of 3,200–12,000 RPM. The tool-free backing-pad system enables fast pad changes without placing unnecessary stress on the tool.

Both soft PSA and soft hook-and-loop backing pads are included, along with left- and right-side vacuum ports and a universal vacuum adapter for effective dust extraction. The tool is backed by Milwaukee’s 3-year limited power-tool warranty.
