Why it works

Polish without the risk

  • Removes haze. The second step after compounding.
  • One-step option. 3M says it can be used alone with polish on easy-to-polish clears.
  • Less sling. Less sling than a rotary tool, for easier cleanup.

Brush it often. 3M says to clean pads often with a conditioning brush for best performance. A loaded pad polishes slower and can leave the haze you're trying to remove.
How to use

Polishing

  1. Center the pad on the 5 in backup pad and press firmly.
  2. Apply RO Polish to the pad in a circle between the edge and the center.
  3. Set the pad flat and spread at speed 2, then increase up to speed 4 maximum.
  4. Use light pressure in a crosshatch over about 2 × 2 ft at a time.
  5. Wipe off the residue. If swirls remain, add 4 drops of polish and continue.
