Why it works

Premium spread, fast sand

  • Wide substrate list. Steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, e-coat, SMC and FRP when properly prepared.
  • Vacuum processed. Pinhole-free and stain-free, with a tack-free resin.
  • Low shrink. 0.81% shrinkage.
  • Paint-system friendly. Compatible with most basecoat/clearcoat and waterborne systems.
Know what's in the can. The "gallon" can holds 102 fl oz (0.8 US gal) of gold filler, plus a 1 oz tube of blue cream hardener. Mix about 2% hardener by weight: a 3 in circle of filler, 1/2 in thick, takes a 3 in strip of cream.
How to use

Application

  1. Prep with P40–P80. On galvanized, e-coat or aluminum, sand with P80 to remove the paint or primer.
  2. Mix 2% cream hardener by weight (1.5% to 2.75%) until the color is uniform.
  3. Apply within the 3–5 minute work time, no more than 1/4 in thick. Work above 45°F.
  4. Shape-sand at 8–12 minutes and finish-sand at 20 minutes, working P40, P80, then P180.
  5. Wait about 45 minutes before priming.
