Overview

The maroon 7447 is the go-to scuff pad for prep before primer or paint. Very fine aluminum oxide cuts about like #1 steel wool, enough to knock the gloss off clear coat, primer or plastic so the next coat bites, without leaving deep scratches.

The abrasive is built into an open nylon web, so the pad folds into door edges, jambs and body lines, resists clogging, won't rust, and rinses clean for reuse. Use it by hand, on a hand block, or on an in-line sander for large panels.
