3M Finesse-it Knit Buffing Pads are manufactured with wool fibers knit into a polyester fabric backing for applying Finesse-it Polishes. Providing a soft, smooth, contouring surface, these pads are ideal for removing finishing abrasive sand scratches, oxidation, and other paint surface defects on automotive OEM, marine OEM, and aerospace OEM coatings.
3M Finesse-it Buffing Pads are available in wool, felt, and foam, offering unique performance traits and benefits depending on your application needs. Wool pads are best paired with rotary-type buffing tools, as they are more aggressive and easier to control when compared to foam pads. This is thanks to their greater available cutting surface, made up of thousands of fibers that deliver fast cutting action.
