The gray Durable Flex pad is the finer, more flexible step after maroon. Ultra-fine silicon carbide dulls the surface for blending clear coat and scuffing around a repair, and the extra flex keeps it in contact on edges and body lines.
The open web resists loading and won't rust or shed like steel wool. Use it dry, with water or with some solvents, then rinse it clean and use it again.
