Sands easy, skips the putty
- Easy sanding. Evercoat's best-sanding filler.
- No putty step. Designed to eliminate the need for finishing putty.
- Non-sag. Holds on vertical panels with virtually no pinholes.
- Wide substrate list. Steel, stainless, galvanized, aluminum, SMC, fiberglass, sanded OEM paint and silicon bronze welds.
- Metalworks. Used as part of the Metalworks system, it maintains the OEM corrosion warranty for its term.
Application
- Sand the repair area with 80–180 grit and featheredge with 180. Sand OEM paint with 180–220.
- Mix with Evercoat Cream Hardener at 2% by weight: a ribbon edge to edge across a 4 in puddle.
- Apply in thin layers with firm, even pressure, up to 1/4 in sanded.
- Sand after 15–20 minutes at 72°F (at least 20 over silicon bronze welds). Shape with 80–180, finish with 180.
- Fill any pinholes with more Rage Ultra, then prime.

How much hardener do I use?
2% by weight: a ribbon edge to edge across a 4 in puddle, or 50:1 filler to hardener.
When can I sand it?
After 15–20 minutes at 72°F. Allow at least 20 minutes over silicon bronze welds.
Can it go over galvanized, aluminum or OEM paint?
Yes. All three are on Evercoat's list. Sand OEM paint with 180–220 first.
Do I still need glazing putty?
It's designed to eliminate finishing putty. Evercoat says to refill any pinholes with Rage Ultra and sand with 180.
Can I use it for structural repairs?
No. Evercoat says it isn't for high-stress or flexing repairs; use a fiberglass-reinforced filler for those.
