Reach and control
- Real torque. 220 ft-lbs without kickback.
- Bolt Removal. In reverse, mode 4 drastically slows the speed once the bolt breaks loose, for more control.
- Auto shut-off. Mode 4 in forward stops to avoid over-tightening.
- Built tough. POWERSTATE brushless motor, aluminum housing, LED and fuel gauge.
Finish by hand on gaskets. Milwaukee notes loosening torque averages 75–80% of tightening torque. On light gasket jobs, run fasteners down at low torque and finish with a hand torque wrench.
Setup
- Remove the battery before changing sockets.
- Push an impact-rated socket firmly over the friction ring; pull straight off to remove.
- Pull and release the trigger, then press the drive control button to choose a mode.
- Set direction only when the motor has stopped; center the switch to lock the trigger.
- Wear ANSI Z87.1 eye protection.

FAQ
Is a battery included?
No. It's a bare tool that needs one M12 battery.
Why won't mode 4 tighten fully?
In forward, mode 4 is auto shut-off. It stops at 15 ft-lbs or less so fasteners aren't over-tightened.
Friction ring or pin detent?
Friction ring. The pin detent version is 2565P-20.
Can I use regular sockets?
No. Milwaukee says to use only impact-rated sockets; others can shatter.
What's the warranty?
Milwaukee covers the tool with a 5-year limited warranty.
