Three extension wands that push straight onto the valve of a 3M Cavity Wax Plus 08852 aerosol. The 24 and 34 inch wands spray 360° inside door skins and frame rails, and the 8 inch wand sends a strong stream to flood and seal joints.

Why it works

Reach the hidden rust

  • No gun needed. Each wand has its own actuator that fits the 08852 valve stem.
  • Full coverage. 360° nozzles coat all sides of enclosed cavities.
  • Seam flooding. The 8 in wand floods seams and joints.
  • Active chemistry. Cavity Wax Plus is non-hardening and helps prevent corrosion inside panels.
Mark the wand. 3M says to mark each wand 1 in from the nozzle end. When the mark appears on the way out, stop spraying, so wax doesn't end up on the outside of the panel.
How to use

Application

  1. Shake the 08852 can for one minute after the agitator ball rattles.
  2. Remove the standard actuator and push the wand's actuator onto the valve stem.
  3. Insert the wand fully into the cavity.
  4. Press the button and withdraw slowly while spraying. Repeat up to three times for full coverage.
  5. Clear the wand by inverting the can and spraying into a clean towel.
