Built for bumper covers
- Semi-rigid plastics. Xenoy, RRIM, GTX, PPO, ABS and other semi-rigid parts.
- Fast turnaround. Sand or paint in 30 minutes at 70°F.
- Metered mixing. 100% solids urethane dispensed through a static mixing nozzle.
- Reinforce the back. Pairs with 3M Reinforcement Tape 04904 for backside repairs.
Prime polyolefins first. On polyolefin plastics like TPO and PP, 3M's process applies Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter 05907 after sanding. And don't put polyester filler or putty over this repair.
Repair process
- Wash with soap and water, then a VOC-compliant surface cleaner.
- Sand with P80 or P180, blow off and wipe clean.
- Apply 3M Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter 05907 on polyolefin plastics.
- Dispense until both parts flow evenly, attach a mixing nozzle and purge a small amount.
- Apply within the 3-minute work time. Sand or paint after 30 minutes; full cure takes 4 hours.

On polyolefins such as TPO and PP, yes. 3M's process uses Polyolefin Adhesion Promoter 05907.
When can I sand or paint?

Can I put body filler over it?
No. 3M says not to apply polyester filler or putty over this product.
What applicator do I need?
A 200 mL cartridge gun (3M 08117, 08571 or 09930) with a static mixing nozzle.
How long does it keep?
12 months unopened. Leave the used nozzle on to seal the cartridge.
