Get the system right
- The listed hardener. Sikkens' TDS names 391299 as the hardener for PC and PC Production.
- Simple ratio. 2:1 by volume on mixing stick #1, or 2:1 on a manual proportioning unit.
- Listed additives. The TDS lists High Temperature Additive 589142, ExtraTop 605328 accelerator and Elast-o-Actif 386100 flex additive for the PC system.
Hot, humid booth? Sikkens allows 1–10% High Temperature Additive 589142 in standard Autoclear PC only, and only at 85°F and above. Pot life stays at 4 hours. Don't add it to PC Production.
Mixing
- Measure 2 parts Autoclear PC, PC Production or a blend, by volume.
- Add 1 part PC Hardener 391299 and stir thoroughly. The TDS lists no reducer.
- For flexible parts, first mix Elast-o-Actif 386100 into the clear at 100:10, then add hardener 2:1.
- Spray within the pot life for your clear, then keep the hardener can tightly closed.

Yes. 391299 is the hardener for Autoclear PC, PC Production and any blend of them.
Can I speed up the cure?
Sikkens lists ExtraTop 605328 at up to 15 ml per ready-to-spray quart, or you can switch to PC Production.
