Goes over

• Bare steel, galvanized and aluminum
• OEM e-coat and non-reversible OEM or old finishes

Primer that builds

• Fill and build. Transtar calls out superior fill and build.
• Protects. Helps prevent rust and seals out moisture.
• Easy sanding. Ready to sand in 15–20 minutes at 70°F.
• Topcoat ready. Transtar says it's compatible with virtually all automotive paints.

Application

1. Clean with a wax and grease remover, then sand with 240 grit.
2. Hold the can upright 8–12 in from the surface.
3. Apply 2–3 medium wet coats, flashing 5–10 minutes between coats.
4. Let it dry 15–20 minutes at 70°F.
5. Sand with 320–400 dry on a DA, or 500–600 wet by hand, then topcoat.
