Jobs SATA names
- Metallic effect passes. When the paint maker calls for a reduced material rate.
- Tinted clear. Over basecoat, for added depth.
- Hard-to-reach parts. On angled or tight areas, to avoid putting on too much paint.
Spray fully open by default. SATA's X 5500 manual says to spray with the material flow control fully open, which keeps fluid tip and needle wear to a minimum. The QMR lets you drop to a reduced setting only for the passes that need it, then pull back to full.
Operation
- Retrofit the QMR to your SATAjet 5000 B or X 5500.
- Set the reduced material flow rate you want for your special passes.
- Push the button to engage the preset reduced flow.
- Pull to release it and return to fully open flow within seconds.
