A high-coverage, sprayable neoprene contact adhesive built for heat. T-440C bonds laminates, fiberglass-reinforced panels, wood and metal, holds to 190 °F, and resists edge lift, which is why RV repair shops use it to lay fiberglass sidewall skins back down onto lauan.

Heat-resistant contact bond
- Holds at temperature. Rated to 190 °F with excellent edge-lift resistance, for panels that bake in the sun and for high-temperature post-forming.
- High coverage. 30% solids lays down about 120 ft² per gallon, so you get more bond per gallon than a typical sprayable contact cement.
- Sprays clean. Low viscosity (100 cps max) atomizes through a standard pressure-pot gun in an even splatter pattern.
- Long working window. A 5–45 minute bonding range gives you time to position large panels.

Application
- Make sure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust and oil.
- Spray a uniform coat on both surfaces in a splatter pattern, targeting 1–1.5 mils dry film. Suggested pressure-pot setup: 70–100 psi line, 10–20 psi pot.
- Let it dry at least 5 minutes, then join the parts within the 45-minute bonding window.
- Apply firm, even pressure across the whole panel. Stabond prefers a pinch roller; compression is what makes the bond.
- Allow 24–48 hours of post-cure before the part sees full load. Thin with toluene (Stabond's T-Thinner) if needed.

FAQ
Do I spray one surface or both?
Both. T-440C is a contact adhesive: coat both surfaces, let them dry at least 5 minutes, then bond within 45 minutes.
Can I use it to bond foam?
Not EPS or Styrofoam. Use Stabond E-183 for foam, and T-440C for the skin-to-lauan layer.
How much do I need?
About 120 ft² of coated surface per gallon. Since both sides get coated, plan on roughly 60 ft² of finished panel per gallon.
What do I thin it with?
Toluene. It's what Stabond's T-Thinner is, and we stock it by the gallon. The same can handles gun flush and wiping up uncured adhesive.
How long until it reaches full strength?
The bond is immediate on contact. Stabond recommends allowing 24–48 hours of post-cure before the part sees full load.
Why is overnight so expensive?
Stabond is an extremely flammable liquid, so it can't ride in a normal box. Express and overnight shipments have to go out as declared dangerous goods, in certified packaging with carrier hazmat fees on top of the freight. That's why overnight is priced per gallon. Standard ground is the best value unless the job is waiting on it.
